TRAVEL CALL!!

Well it is official! We are heading to Korea to pick up Avery! Tuesday morning I was so bummed and disappointed that I did not have it in my to even go to work, so I called in sick for a "mental health" day! I called the DC office at 9:00 as I do every morning to see if her visa had been issued yet, well once again, it hadn't been issued, I was so bummed, I called Paul and told him, "no new news today..", then about 30 minutes later, my cell phone rang and it was our social worker calling to tell us that they received info that Avery was ready for us to come get her. I could not believe it, I was totally not expecting the call that day, especially since her visa had not been issued yet, but I guess God had other plans!! It is never our timing, it is always His timing!! Thank you God!!!

So we are leaving Saturday 3/13 and will return on Thursday 3/18! We leave at 8:40 am on Saturday and head to Chicago, then from Chicago, we leave for Seoul, Korea at 11:40am. We will be travelling for 13 1/2 hours and will be landing in Seoul around 1am (michigan time) Sunday morning, but it will actually be 4:00pm Sunday in Seoul. Seoul is approximately 13 hours ahead of us!! Then our return flight, we leave Seoul at 11:40 am (seoul time) Thursday (which is approximately 10:40pm wednesday night in michigan) and will land in Detroit at 2:30pm Thursday afternoon.. Confusing, I know!! So if you would please keep us in your prayers during our travel time! Please pray for safe travels and a happy baby!!

Thank you all for your love and support for the past couple of years, this has been a long hard journey, but oh so worth it! Next week at this time, we will have Avery in our arms!!! AMEN!!
