SHE IS OURS FOREVER!!

Well she is alseep in the baby hawk carrier on me right now!! What a morning, a whirlwind of emotions!! First I went down to the flower shop in the hotel to get the FM some flowers for today and told them I needed them in an hour, they actually told me they were too busy and couldnt do it, so I cried... Then Paul and his mom went to find a flower shop, they found one and arrived back at the hotel exactly when we needed to leave for the agency....Then we went to the agency and got to see the babies at the baby reception house. This is where the babies stay before they go into foster homes.... There were about 40 babies there from new born to 3-4 months, they usually try to get them into foster homes ASAP, but sometimes it is not possible. Then we walked over to the agency as Sooah (avery) was already there with her fm, waiting for us. We we entered the agency, there were 2 foster moms there waiting with two very cute baby boys. They were probably there for a check up or something. I wondered if they were the babies of any of my friends on the adoption boards!!! Anyway, there was also anoother family there picking up their baby.. So we entered and there was Sooah and her FM, she looked so happy at the time, but that didn't last long. She is really attached to her FM and FF.... The FF was there, but he couldn't stand to say good bye to Sooah, so we did not meet him. He loves Sooah very much and is going to miss her greatly.... I am so sad for the foster family as they love her so much and took such good care of her. We are truly blessed that she was with such a loving family before us....I cry tears of happiness for us and sadness for the foster family... It was a very emotional "hand off"... Sooah was crying uncontrolably... My poor baby was so scared and sad to leave her FM.. We were all pretty emotional, even Ethan was crying. The foster mother had to walk away, she was so sad. She did give Ethan a big hug before we left and said she feels so much better after meeting us. It really is good for the FM to meet the families... We received, lots of bottles, clothes, formula, diapers, etc. ..

So Avery screamed the whole ride back to the hotel and up in the room, then I put her in the carrier and walked around with her patting her bottom (foster mom does that) and she eventually fell asllep after about 20 minutes. She has been sleeping now for about 45 minutes....

She is absoultely beautiful!

We are truly blessed to have her in our family!! We all love her so much!

THANK YOU GOD!!!

Ok she is waking up now, gotta go!

Oh yea, Ethan is feeling better today!

  7. Yipee! Avery is finally in her mommy's arms forever! I am so sorry to hear how hard the "hand off" was! I cried just reading it! Such wonderful and special people that but their whole hearts into loving and caring for our babies while we wait to bring them home! Hats off to them for such a selfless thing! I know Avery will feel the love you, Paul, and Ethan have for her and she will be just as in love with you as you are with her! I am so happy to hear Ethan is feeling better! Remember to sleep when Avery sleeps!

    Love ya,
    Jamie
